Obituary of Harvey Thomas

            Harvey Thomas, Jr., 82, of Millville passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at his home under the care of his family and hospice.

            Born in Mount Holly to the late Harvey Thomas and Verna Austin Thomas, he was the husband of Grace M. Hines Thomas. Harvey had lived in Millville for the past 20 years and prior to that he had resided at Laurel Lake.

            Before his retirement, he had been employed with the Burlington County Department of Streets and Roads. In his free time, Harvey was an avid hunter and fisherman. He had attended Maranatha Baptist Church in Millville.

            In addition to his wife, Grace, he is survived by a brother, Clifton Thomas and his wife, Lillian of Lumberton; a sister in law, Doris Campbell of Dividing Creek and a brother in law, Bill Hines and his wife, Norma of Hopewell Twp.

            Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 160 Main Street, Cedarville on Thursday, October 4^th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Newport Baptist Cemetery in Downe Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
