Obituary of Carol L. Solorzano

            Carol L. Solorzano, 72, of Upper Deerfield Twp. died on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Eagleview Center in Pittsgrove Twp. under the care of hospice following an extended illness.

            Born in Swedesboro to late George Ledden and Grace Huster Ledden, she was the wife of the late Policarpio “Hubert” Solorzano. Carol had been a resident of Upper Deerfield Twp for most of her life.

            Prior to her retirement, she had worked as a cafeteria aide for the Upper Deerfield Twp. school system for over 20 years. Carol loved to watch her favorite television shows NCIS and Big Brother and enjoyed playing games on her tablet.

            She is survived by her three children, Kevin Solorzano of Millville, Michelle Koble-Louis of DE and Julie C. Solorzano-Gallelli and her husband, Joseph of Westville; a granddaughter, Kameron G. Solorzano of Vineland and four siblings, Charles Ledden of NC, Edwin Ledden of TN, Jane Schmidt of Upper Deerfield Twp. and Harry Ledden of Greenwich.  She was predeceased by her brother, George Ledden and sisters, Bernice Ledden and Joan Ledden.

            Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Saturday, September 29^th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Deerfield Methodist Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
