Obituary of Charles E. Strockbine

            Charles E. Strockbine, 89, of Bridgeton passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at the Bishop McCarthy Residence in Vineland.

            Born in Elmer to the late Alanson and Ethel Strockbine, he was the loving companion of Doris DeBellis for the past 37 years. Charles had been a resident of Bridgeton for most of his life.

            Prior to his retirement, he had owned and operated Sportsman's Rest motorcycle sales and service in Fairton and Sportsman's Rest Auto Sales at Carll's Corner in Upper Deerfield Township.

            In addition to his longtime companion, Doris, he is survived by his three children, Maryann Moore of Bridgeton, Vicki Mather of Hopewell Twp. and Edward “Eddy” Strockbine of Cedarville.  Charles was preceded in death by his brother, George Strockbine.

            Memorial services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Thursday evening, August 30^th at 7 PM.
