Obituary of Rochelle A Caldwell

Rochelle A. Caldwell, 41, of Vineland passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 19, 2018 at Kennedy University Hospital in Sewell following injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

Born in Bridgeton to Janet Pritchett Caldwell and the late Herbert Cratic, Jr., she had been a resident of Cumberland County most of her life. Rochelle had lived in Vineland for the past 11 years and prior to that she had resided in East Orange and Bridgeton.

She was currently employed as an accountant at the Center for Families in Voorhees for the past six months. She had also been employed by the Center for Family Services in Marlton in the accounting department for over 5 years and several financial institutions in the area. In her free time, Rochelle loved to cook, hang out with her cousins, “The Sassy Sista's” and most of all spending time with her children and family.

She is survived by her children, Troy Heard of Fairfield Twp. and Rashiya Cradle; her mother, Janet Caldwell of Fairfield Twp.; two siblings, Sherry Evans of Sicklerville and John Caldwell, Jr. (Alretha) of Sewell; “The Sassy Sista's” and a host of cousins, friends and other family members. She was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Cratic, Jr.; her sister, Vivian Pritchett; her grandmother, Thelma McGriff and her great-grandmother, Della Landsdale.

Funeral services will be held at John Wesley United Methodist Church, 90 Matthew Brown Way, Bridgeton on Thursday, August 30th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the church from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
