            Michael J. Oniszczuk, 42, of Dividing Creek died unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, August 5, 2018.

 

            Born in Bridgeton to James Munyon and Helen Oniszczuk Munyon, he was a resident of Downe Twp. for the past 15 years. Prior to that Michael had lived in Cedarville.

 

            Michael had been employed with Bivalve Packing as an Oysterman for over 7 years. He had been previously employed as a crabber with Jeff Moore and in his younger years, he had worked for Sheppard Farms in Cedarville. Most of all Michael loved spending time with his son, Michael, Jr. and was a devoted father. They loved to go fishing, hunting and shed hunting together.


            In addition to his parents who reside in Cedarville he is survived by his siblings, James “Jimmy” Munyon and his wife, Lisa of Newport and Melissa Munyon of Vineland; his son, Michael Oniszczuk, Jr. of Cedarville and his nieces and nephews, James, III, Makenzy and Sarah. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Myra and Melvin Munyon and Anna and Teodor Oniszczuk and his step-grandfather, Carl Myer.

 

            Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 160 Main Street, Cedarville on Saturday, August 11th at 12 Noon. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 12 Noon prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the custodial trust of Michael's son, Michael Oniszczuk, Jr. at TD Bank, 53 S Laurel St, Bridgeton, NJ 08302 or any TD Bank Location.
