Obituary of Earl W. Padgett, Jr.

            Earl Woodruff Padgett, Jr. 74, of Pittsgrove passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at his home.

            Born in Bridgeton to the late Earl W. Padgett, Sr. and Emma Sell Padgett, he was the husband of Sharon Walko Padgett. Earl had been a resident of Pittsgrove for the past 50 years and prior to that he had lived in Shiloh and Bridgeton.

            He was a veteran of the National Guard and the United States Air Force. Earl had been employed as a draftsman at various glass companies in the area including Wheaton Scientific Glass. He then became a truck driver with C. Harrell Trucking in Elmer.

            In addition to his wife, Sharon, he is survived by his son, Earl W. Padgett, III and his wife, Dawn C. Padgett of Upper Deerfield Twp. and his Labrador Retriever, Snowflake.

            Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Saturday, August 18^th at 11 AM. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday evening August 17^th from 6 to 8 PM and on Saturday one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
