Obituary of Judith Hymer Downs

            Judith Hymer Downs, 44, of Hopewell Twp. passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Inspira Medical Center-Vineland following an extended illness.

            Born in Bridgeton to Herbert Hymer and Emma Pierce Hymer and the wife of Andrew Downs, she was a lifetime resident of Hopewell Twp. Judith was a homemaker who loved crafting. She enjoyed spending time with all the neighborhood children throughout the years. Judith was also involved in the establishment of the “Mason Jar Ladies” who raised money through the sale of lemonade and sweets.

            In addition to her parents, she is survived by two sons, Jeremy Hymer (Savanna) of Stow Creek Twp. and Jordan Hymer (Lee Anne) of Hopewell Twp.; two brothers, Hebert J. Hymer, III of Hopewell and her twin, Joseph L. Hymer of North Carolina and a grandson, J.J. Hymer.

            A visitation for friends and family will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Thursday, August 9^th from 2 PM to 3 PM. Interment will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Written condolences can be sent to the family though the funeral
