Obituary of Bertha Ann Lucas

            Bertha Ann Lucas, 73, of Romona, CA and formerly of Millville died unexpectedly at Cooper University Hospital in Camden on Monday, July 30, 2018 while visiting her family locally.

            Born in Millville to the late Frederick Burkett, Jr. and Margaret Donoflio Burkett, she was the wife of the late John Lucas. Bertha had been a resident of CA for the past year and prior to that she had lived in TX for over 20 years.

            Prior to her retirement, she had owned and operated B.A. Ceramics in Houston, TX.

            She is survived by three children, Pamela Ward of Brown, CA, Steven Abbott of TX and James Zazas of CA; a brother, Frederick Burkett, III and his wife, Kay of Cedarville; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

            Graveside services will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 601 W. Main Street, Millville on Wednesday, August 8^th at 10 AM.
