Obituary of Janet D. Bowen

Janet D. Bowen, 77, of Fairfield Twp. passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Inspira Medical Center-Vineland.

            Born in Bridgeton to the late George Nelson and Rose Ayers Nelson Davis, she was a lifetime resident of Fairfield Twp. Prior to her retirement, Janet was a dietician at Bridgeton Hospital for over 20 years. She had also been employed by the Fairfield Intermediate School as a dietary aide.

            She is survived by four children, Richard Bowen of Fairfield Twp., Kenneth Bowen of Fairfield Twp., Theresa Lindmeier of Franklinville and Edwin Bowen and his wife, Sherrie of Millville; three siblings, Luke Nelson and his wife, Nancy of Williamsport, PA, Carol Tayvinsky of Vineland and LuAnn Boss and her husband, Bob of FL; eight grandchildren, Brandon, Brittany, Bernadette, Ashley, Robert, Megan, Brielle and Bracklyn and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Joey Bowen.

            Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Friday, July 27^th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Overlook Cemetery in Bridgeton. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
