Obituary of Jennifer Trejo Gomez

Jennifer Trejo-Gomez “Chikis”, age 9, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 17, 2018.

Born in Vineland on June 9, 2009, she was the daughter of Ruben Alberto Trejo-Mota and Yanet Gomez-Mendoza.

Jennifer was a third grade student at the Buckshutem Road School in Bridgeton and would often say that she wanted to be a teacher when she grew up.  She was so very proud of her pink piggy bank that she kept by her bedside and the $60.00 dollars she had saved up, as she would say “for her college”. 

            In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Danna Trejo and a brother, Alan Trejo along with family, friends and classmates here and family in Mexico. 

            Her funeral liturgy will be celebrated at the Parish of the Holy Cross-St. Teresa of Avila Church, 46 Central Avenue, Bridgeton on Saturday, July 21^st at 12 Noon.  Friends will be received at the church from 10 AM to 12 Noon prior to the services.  Burial will take place at the Municipal Cemetery in Adalberto de Tejada, Veracruz, Mexico.  Arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Township.  Written condolences can be sent to the family at www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.
