Obituary of Pauline Medina

Pauline Medina, 72, of Vineland passed away under hospice care and surrounded by her family on Friday evening, June 22, 2018 following a brief illness.

Born in Bridgeton to the late Joseph Moore, Sr. and Evelyn Lacy Moore, she was the wife of Eleuser Medina. Pauline had been a resident of Vineland for the past three years and prior to that she had lived in Bridgeton and Millville respectively.

Pauline was a homemaker who tirelessly cared for her family, foster children and many she came into contact with throughout her life. She volunteered her time at Help and Hope Ministries, the former Dave's Place and the former Cornerstone all in Millville. In her free time, Pauline enjoyed attending church diligently, watching the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles, traveling to Lancaster, collecting Fire-King dishware and collecting snowmen. She also loved reruns of “I Love Lucy” and listening to her favorite musical artist, Elvis Presley.

She is survived by; her husband, Eleuser Medina of Vineland, four children, Tina Hines and her husband, Timothy of Millville, Dorothy “Dottie” Sharretts and her husband, Kenneth, Sr. of Cedarville, Anthony Medina, Sr. and his wife, Charise of Vineland and Victor Soto of Lancaster, PA; two brothers, Frank Davis, II of Millville and Joseph Moore, Jr. of Millville; her sister, Bertha “Bert” James of Arkansas; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by; her brother, Leon Davis; her sister, Lois Learner and a daughter-in-law, Alexia Soto.

Memorial services will be held at New Hope United Methodist Church, 2018 Newcombtown Rd., Millville on Thursday evening, June 28th at 6 PM. Friends will be received at the church from 5 PM to 6 PM prior to the services. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Pauline's memory to her church, New Hope United Methodist Church, 2018 Newcombtown Rd., Millville, NJ 08332.
