Obituary of Betty Jo Holland

Betty Jo Holland, age 69, of Upper Deerfield Township died unexpectedly on Monday, July 2, 2012 at South Jersey Hospital-Elmer Division. Born in Hartford, TN on January 5, 1943 she was the daughter of the late Sam Hall and Geneva Grooms Hall and the wife of Michael C. Holland. She had been an Upper Deerfield Township resident for 27 years and prior to that had lived in Elmer. Before her retirement a year ago, Betty had been employed with The Bank at the Rosenhayn Branch. She had also previously worked at T.D. Bank and the former Farmers and Merchants National Bank. She enjoyed cooking, flower arranging and the beach. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Deborah Hannah of Carmel; a niece, Betty Grooms-Huff (Shawn) of Hopewell Twp.; a cousin, Ellie Brown of Deerfield Twp. and two grandchildren, Dylan and Josh Huff. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning, July 10th at 11 AM at the Centerton Free Will Baptist Church, Dealtown Road, Pittsgrove. Burial will follow the services in the church cemetery.
