Obituary of Theophilus "Bob" Mitchell

Theophilus “Bob” Mitchell, 86, of Pittsgrove passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at his home with his family under the care of his family and hospice.
The son of the late Joseph “Frenchy” Carbonneau and Anna Carbonneau, he was the husband of Kay Campbell Mitchell and had been a Pittsgrove Township resident since 1960 moving there from Millville.
Bob was a Veteran of the Korean War and had served his country in the United States Army.
Prior to his retirement, he had been employed as a truck driver with the Imperial Distributing Company in Vineland. He had also worked for many seasons at Camp Roosevelt Boy Scout Camp after his retirement from Imperial Distributing.
An avid outdoorsman and camper, he also enjoyed television, especially Westerns, John Wayne, MASH and NCIS. He had an extensive collection of movies and Westerns.
A member of the Malaga Assembly of God Church, he had been an active member of the Royal Rangers for many years through the Assembly of God Church.
In addition to his wife, Kay, he is survived by three daughters, Kathleen Laury of Elmer, Patricia Wilson of Upper Deerfield Twp. and Connie DiFrancesco of Vineland; three siblings, Joseph Carbonneau of FL, Joanne Blakeslee of NC and Harold Carbonneau of Hopewell Twp., three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Wednesday, June 6th at 11 AM. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 PM and on Wednesday morning from 10 to 11 AM prior to the services.
