Obituary of Lewis Bard

            Lewis Bard, 71, of Cedarville died on Monday, April 23, 2018 at Christiana Hospital in New Castle, DE. 

            The son of the late Raymond N. Bard and Roseanna Pierce Bard, he had been a Cedarville resident for 30 years and had lived in Fairton prior to that. 

            A veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, he had served his country in the United States Army. 

            Lewis had been employed as a diesel mechanic with several trucking companies including Bradway Trucking in Vineland.

            He enjoyed fishing, playing the guitar and splitting fire wood for his wood stove.

            He is survived by a brother, Ronald D. Bard of TN and a sister, Paulette Dukes of Fairfield Twp.  He was predeceased by two brothers, Raymond C. Bard and James L. Bard.

            Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Thursday, May 3^rd at 11 AM.  Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 to 11 AM prior to the services.
