Obituary of Stephanie Ann Ballassi

Stephanie Ann Ballassi, age 56, of Bridgeton died unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, June 23, 2012. She had been in declining health for the past year. Stephanie was born in New London, CT, on July 25, 1955 to the late George D. Ballassi and Olivere Young Ballassi. She had been a Bridgeton resident for 13 years and had lived in Upper Deerfield Township prior to that. A member of St. Anthony's Greek Orthodox Church in Vineland, she was a beautician by profession and had worked at different locations in the area. Surviving are three sons, Michael A. Pflieger and his wife Jaime, Christian L. Pflieger and Calvin J. Pflieger and his wife Danielle all of Bridgeton; a daughter, Alana Shelton of Bridgeton; two sisters, Raullie Clark of CT and Donna Cataldi and her husband Tony of GA; a brother, David Hancock of FL, 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at St. Anthony's Greek Orthodox Church, 430 Wheat Road, Vineland on Saturday, June 30th at 1PM. Burial will take place at Laurel Lawn Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Township. Friends will be received at the church on Saturday from 12 to 1 PM prior to the services. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions in Stephanie's memory be made to St. Anthony's Greek Orthodox Church.
