Frank T. Pierce, Jr., age 62, of Upper Deerfield Township died Saturday, June 23, 2012 at his home following a one year period of declining health. Born in Bridgeton on October 12, 1949, he was the son of Myrtle Coombs Pierce and the late Frank T. Pierce. He had lived at his present address for two years and was a Rosenhayn resident prior to that. Frank had been employed at Leone Industries in Bridgeton for the past ten years. He had also previously worked at the former D & P Auto Parts in Deerfield Township for several years. An avid motorcyclist, he was a member of the former Touch of Class Motorcycle Club and the Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape Indians of New Jersey. In addition to his mother, survivors include a son, Frank T. Pierce-Lloyd of Upper Deerfield Township; a daughter, Shawna Predhan; two sisters, Hester "Midge" Ridgeway and Katrinka Hewitt both of Bridgeton; his fiance, Diana Ford of Fairfield Township, nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Shane Howard Pierce. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Friday, June 29th at 2:30 PM. Burial will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Township. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 1:30 to 2:30 PM prior to the services.
