Obituary of Kurk E. Elsey

            Kurk Edward Elsey, 59, Mays Landing passed away after a brief battle with cancer on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center-Atlantic City Campus.  He was born September 21, 1958 to the late Ennis L. Elsey and Edith M. Sutton Elsey.

            Kurk had been employed over 35 years as a Clinical Instructor and Interventional/Neuro Radiologic Technologist at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center. 

            He is survived by two brothers, Larry Elsey of Washington, DC and Kevin Elsey of Newfield; two sisters, Wanda Johnson and her husband, Joseph, III of Woodbine and Danita Milbourne and her husband, Kevin, Sr. of Millville; three nephews, Joseph E. Johnson, IV, Justin K. Johnson and Kevin M. Milbourne, Jr.; four nieces, Alecia Thomas, Shawna Elsey, Shayla Elsey and Krystin Milbourne; four great nephews and seven great nieces and three very close friends, Maryann O’Connor, Cory D’Amore and Cynthia Guillermain.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Arnold E. Elsey, maternal grandparents Obie L. Sutton and Flossie E. Goar Sutton and paternal grandparents, Elmer Elsey and Margaret Garrison Elsey.

            Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 21^st at the Christ Gospel Love Center, 2209 Route 9, Whitesboro at 11 AM.  Friends will be received from 10 to 11 AM prior to the services at the church.  Interment will take place at Woodbine Cemetery..  Arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp.  Written condolences can be sent to the family at www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.
