Obituary of Lucille Wiggins
Lucille Wiggins, 92, of Fairfield Twp. died on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at her home following several years of illness.
Born in Macon, GA to the late Walter Harden, Sr. and Emma Corrine Harden, she was the wife of Henry Wiggins. In her early 20's, Lucille moved to New Jersey and was a Bridgeton area resident most of her life.
Prior to her retirement, Lucille had been employed by Owens Illinois Glass Co. in Bridgeton for over 28 years. She was a member of the Evangelistic World Gospel Mission in Bridgeton. Lucille became an evangelist in the church in the early 1980's where she acquired many awards and received special recognition for her service. In her free time, she enjoyed cleaning, cooking and shopping. Her family described her as a sharp dresser and a having an eye for fashion.
She is survived by; her husband, Henry Wiggins of Fairfield Twp.; three grandchildren, Isiah Brown, John W. James and Krishauna E. James all of Bridgeton; her daughter in law, Mary Brown of Bridgeton; her great-granddaughter, Serenity and two nieces, Angela Mosby of PA and Paula Harden of CA. She was preceded in death by; a son, Michael E. Brown; three brothers, Walter L. Harden, Theodore Harden and Oscar Harden and a step-son, Gary Wiggins.
Funeral services will be held at Evangelist World Gospel Mission, 270 Bank Street, Bridgeton on Tuesday, March 13th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Fordville Memorial Park in Fairfield Twp.
