We already miss her as a neighbor and friend. She would harass Sam and vice versa, when she saw him outside as she was leaving for one of her functions, trips or going to dinner.
I remember her smile even when she was trying desperately to get her sugar down to where the doctor wanted to see it so she could feel better.
There is definitely a dark hole on our street

Shirley was one of the most lovable person I know. My sister and I always said she was our older adopted sister and she agreed. Shirley always came to our family gathering, being weddings, showers, birthdays or just see everyone. My daughters loved her as an aunt. Shirley will be so sadly missed but live in our hearts forever!!
