Obituary of Julius R. Smith

Julius R. Smith, 89, of Clayton died on Monday, January 29, 2018 at his home.

Born in Hartford, TN to the late Bruce Smith and Rosie Ball Smith, he was the husband of the late Delma Clark Smith. Julius had been a resident of Clayton for the past 13years and before that he had lived in Bridgeton and Elmer.

Prior to his retirement, Julius had been a partner in the operation of American Appliance and Refrigeration Inc. in Vineland for several years.

He is survived by; four daughters, Theresa Rhoads of Millville, Evelyn Lisk of Benton, PA, Carol Benjamin of Vineland and Janice Baker of Newfield; six grandchildren, Theresa Rhoads, Wesley Rhoads, Daniel Lysk, Michael Benjamin, Sabrina Rhoads and Brian Baker and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by; his wife, Dell Clark Smith; two sisters, Bernice Pearce and Ressie Morris and two brothers, Joe G. Smith and Headman Smith.

Funeral services were held privately on Friday, February 2nd at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp. Private interment services were held at Centerton Free Will Baptist Cemetery in Pittsgrove Twp.
