Obituary of Charles F. Hickman

Charles “Fred” F. Hickman, 67, of Monroeville died on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland following a long illness.

Fred was born in Bridgeton to the late Norman Hickman and Bertha Quigley Hickman. Charles had been employed by Rode's Catering in Swedesboro as a cook and was known for his chicken recipe.

He is survived by; his son, Henry Hickman; his brothers, Leroy Hickman, Sr. and his wife, Janet, William Hickman, Sr., Norman Hickman and Kevin Hickman; his sisters, Rebecca DeVault and Deborah Robinson and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Fred will have no public services and was known to say, “If people can't visit me when I'm alive then don't visit me when I'm dead.” Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp.
