Emma Jean Flagg, 74, of Fairfield Twp. died on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden.

                Emma was born in Upper Deerfield Twp. to the late Melvin Johnson and Mae Hattie Love Johnson. She had been a resident of Fairfield Twp. for the past 47 years and before to that she had lived in Cedarville.

                Prior to her retirement, Emma had worked with Wheaton Glass Co. in Millville. She was known for hosting all the big family gatherings . Emma was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Cedarville where she served as an usher for many years.

                She is survived by; four sons, Leonard K. Flagg of Fairfield Twp., Christopher K. Flagg of Syracuse, NY, and twins, Matthew D. and Marcus W. Flagg both of Fairfield Twp. and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by; three brothers, Melvin, Jr., John and David Johnson and a sister, Mary Frances Brisbane.

                Funeral services will be held at New Hope Baptist Church, 47 Schaffer Ave. Cedarville on Saturday, December 23rd at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the church from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
