Obituary of Minerva S. Steelman

Minerva S. Steelman, 103, of Millvillve died on Tuesday morning, November 7, 2017 at the Maurice House in Millville.

            Born in Greenwich to the late Clarence Willis, Sr. and Jenny L. Smalley WIllis, she was the wife of the late Joseph N. Mitchell and Rev. Merton Steelman. Miverva had lived at her present address in Millville since 2006 and prior to that she had resided in Deerfield Twp.

            Minerva had been a member of Friendship Finley United Methodist Church.

            She is survived by; two sons, Joseph Mitchell and his wife, Sophie of PA and Robert Mitchell and his wife, Frances of Concord, VA and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchilren. She was preceded in death by; a daughter, June Krupa; a grandson, Robert Mitchell, Jr; a step-son, Rev. Merton Steelman, Jr.; four brothers and two sisters.

            Fuenral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield on Monday, November 13, 2017 11 AM. Interment will take place at Friendship Finley United Methodist Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
