Obituary of Glenn C. Utley

Glenn “Charles” Utley, III died on Saturday, October 7, 2017 following an extended illness.

            Charles was born in Bridgeton to the late Glenn C. Utley, Jr. and Iva Dickson Utley. He had been a resident of Millville briefly but had been a Bridgeton resident most of his life.

            Charles spent his time helping others in any way that he could. In his free time, he enjoyed listening to oldies music and camping. Charles was a fixture at the former Bridgetowne Diner.

            He is survived by; two sisters, Linda Grace and her husband, Frank of Bridgeton and Goldie Utley of Bridgeton; a brother, James Utley of Rutherfordton, NC; two nieces; a nephew and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by; a brother, John Utley and a nephew, Paul Grace.

            Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Charles's memory to PACT, 425 Bank Street, Bridgeton, NJ 08302.
