Cheryl L. Parsons, age 55, of Upper Deerfield Township died unexpectedly on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at her home. She had been in declining health for past six years. The daughter of the late Charles Jackson and Shirley Lecorchick Jackson she was the wife of Joseph T. Parsons and was born in Bridgeton on December 19, 1956. She had been an Upper Deerfield Township resident for 20 years and prior to that she had lived in Rosenhayn. Cheryl had been employed at the Eatmor Market in Deerfield Township for many years. She enjoyed trips to Lancaster, PA and spending time on the computer using Facebook. She was excited about the arrival of her grandchild due in November and loved her two Poodles, Molly and Kane. She was also extremely proud of her two nephews, Charles and Kurtis Henigin who are serving their country in the United States Army and spoke about them often. In addition to her husband Joe, she is survived by a daughter, Kim Robbins-Nardi of Greenwich; four sisters, Linda Spatola of Fairton, Debbie Lilly of Uniontown, PA, Bobbie Algarin and her husband Berto of Bridgeton, and Lisa Henigin and her husband Buddy of Uniontown, PA; a brother, Eddie Jackson of Scottsdale, PA; three grandchildren, Mike Robbins, Naya Rodriguez, and Nichole Rodriguez; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township, on Thursday, May 24th at 3 PM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 2 to 3 PM prior to the services. Cremation will follow the services at Laurel Lawn Crematory, Upper Deerfield Township. In lieu of flowers, donations in Cheryl's memory can be made to the American Heart Association, Memorials and Tributes, 1 Union Street, Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691.
