Obituary of Doris T. Russo

            Doris T. Russo, 91, of Upper Deerfield Twp. passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at her home. 

            The wife of James J. Russo, she was born in Johnstown, PA and was the daughter of the late Robert Tedrow and Myrtle Cline Tedrow.  She had been an Upper Deerfield Twp. resident for 58 years and had lived in Bridgeton prior to that. 

            A 1945 graduate of Johnstown High School, she enjoyed Swedish weaving, crocheting and sewing.

            Mrs. Russo was an active member of Central United Methodist Church in Bridgeton for many years until its closing.  She also had served with the PTA of Seabrook School and the Cumberland County PTA for 25 years. 

            In addition to her husband James, she is survived by her three children, Tina Marie Russo-Rios and husband, Luis of LA, Michael L. Russo and his wife Elizabeth of Upper Deerfield Twp. and Christopher J. Russo and his wife Theresa of Millville; six grandchildren, Michael Russo, Jr., Natalie Rios-Angotti and husband Jeffrey, Brittany Tully and husband, Scott, Blake Russo, Joshua Rios and Brittany Russo and her fiance, Joshua Morgan and three great-grandchildren.  She was one of 12 brothers and sisters.

            Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Saturday, Sept. 16th at 10 AM.  Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9 to 10 AM prior to the services.  Interment will take place at Overlook Cemetery in Bridgeton.  Written condolences can be sent to the family at www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.
