Obituary of George D. Fithian

            George D. Fithian, 54, of Millville died unexpectedly at home on Sunday, September 10, 2017.

            The son of the late Henry Fithian and Elizabeth Peterson Fithian, he had resided in Millville for 19 years and prior to that Atlantic City and Bridgeton. 

            George had been employed with several casino/hotels in Atlantic City including the Showboat.  He had also previously worked at Durand Glass Company in Millville.

            He enjoyed bowling and collecting.

            Surviving are his four siblings, Andrew Fithian of WI, Rachel Roig-Fithian of Millville, Nancy Fee of TN, Terri Vega of Millville and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  He was predeceased by brothers, Henry Fithian, Jr. and William “Butch” Fithian.

            Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 15th at 10 AM at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp.  Friends will be received from 9 to 10 AM prior to the services at the funeral home.  Written condolences can be sent to the family at www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.
