Obituary of James King

            James “Mookie” King, Jr., 59, of Bridgeton died unexpectedly on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. 

            A lifetime Bridgeton resident, he was born in Bridgeton to the late James King and Ella Jones King.  He had previously been employed at Progresso Foods Company and Pillsbury Foods both in Vineland. 

            Surviving are his two daughters, Delonda Rhett of Geneva, NY and Alisha Hull of Glassboro; two brothers, Avant Robinson, Sr. of GA and Timmie King, Sr. of Mays Landing; a sister, Dorothy Frazier of Fairfield Twp., 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by a sister, Tammy King.

            Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Saturday, August 19th at 11 AM.  Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 to 11 AM prior to the services.  Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp.  Written condolences can be sent to the family at www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.
