Obituary of Phebe Ann Franzen

Phebe Ann Franzen, 91, of Myrtle Beach, SC formerly of Bridgeton died on Tuesday, June 13th at her home.

Born in Bridgeton to the late Edward Mayhew and Mary H. Moore Mayhew, she was the wife of the late Peter G. Franzen. Phebe had been a long time resident of Bridgeton but had moved to Myrtle Beach, SC in her retirement.

Prior to her retirement, she had owned and operated the Riverview Inn in Pennsville for many years with her late husband Peter. Phebe always kept a beautiful home and was available to her family whenever they needed her. She was a good christian woman and the bible was a big part of raising her family. Phebe was pasionate about her work and being a grandmother. She was a member of Cohansey Baptist Church in Shiloh.

Phebe is survived by; two daughters, Peggy Tew of Myrtle Beach, SC and Pauline Kirkpatrick and her husband Rich of Brookhaven, PA; five grandchildren, Antionette Morris, Victoria Kirkpatrick, Jason Alexander, Alyssa Alexander and Rochelle Alexander and two step-grandchildren, Shane Alexander and Eric Alexander. She was preceded in death by; her husband of 52 years, Peter G. Franzen; a daughter, Patricia Alexander and a son-in-law, Michael Alexander.

Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Monday, June 26th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
