Obituary of Warren D. Brandriff

            Warren D. Brandriff, Jr., 61, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 9, 2017 after a courageous fifteen month battle with prostate cancer.  He had been under the care of Hospice for the past two months. 

            Warren was born in Bridgeton and attended Bridgeton schools.  After high school he was employed at Wheaton Glass Company.  Additionally, he was employed at various casinos in Atlantic City and spent the last 26 years employed with the Trump Taj Mahal.  Prior to his illness, he worked in the Payroll Department at the Taj Mahal.  Warren enjoyed traveling and had special memories of his visits to England and Paris and cruises to New England and the Caribbean.  He was a devoted fan of the TV series “The Golden Girls”. 

He is survived by his sister, Karen Ferus (Brian); his companion, Keith Figgs; his nieces, Janet Small, Kerri Tindall (Roger), nephews, Paul Taylor (Brenda) and Anthony Greenwood and many cousins, great nieces and nephews.  Warren is also survived by his special friends, Anna Quintana-Williams, Marcia Joseph and Glena McArthur.  They provided much love and support during his illness.

            Warren was predeceased by his parents, Warren, Sr. and Ida Mae Brandriff; his brother, Lewis; paternal grandparents, Walter and Phyllis Brandriff and maternal grandparents, John and Elizabeth Kinzel.  Warren was also predeceased by his special and beloved niece, Sonya Taylor Greenwood in 2012. 

            Warren will be missed by all who knew him.  We will remember him and cherish the memories of him as a caring, generous and loving man.  He will live forever in our hearts.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 17th at First Wesleyan Church, 200 West Laurel Heights Drive, Upper Deerfield Township at 11 AM.  Friends will be received at the church from 9 to 11 AM prior to the services.  Interment will take place at Overlook Cemetery in Bridgeton. 

            In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Sonya Taylor Greenwood Scholarship Fund c/o Cumberland County College Foundation, P.O. Box 1500, 3322 College Drive, Vineland, NJ  08302-1500.
