Obituary of George J. DelValle
George “GQ” DelValle, 44, of Bridgeton, died on Saturday, May 27th as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Born in Bridgeton to the Libby Corley DelValle and the late Angel DelValle, he was the long time companion of Kiyonia Brown. Although he had briefly resided in Camden, Millville, Wildwood and VA, George had been a Bridgeton resident most of his life.
He was employed by National Refrigerants in Rosenhayn. In his free time, George enjoyed writing hip hop music, writing poetry and playing softball. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Tupac fan. George was known to be a great cook specializing in Mac and Cheese and crabs. He cherished spending time with his family.
He is survived by; his companion of many years, Kiyonia Brown; his mother, Libby DelValle of Bridgeton; two sons, Lakeem Reese and Reginald Reese both of Vineland; a daughter, Fantasia DelValle of Wildwood; 15 brothers and sisters; four grandchildren; a godson, Jaiden Barnes and his two dogs, Showtime and Conchita. He was preceded in death by; a brother in law, James Bard and two nephews, Jobby DelValle and Little Chico DelValle.
Funeral services will be held at Crusaders for Christ Church, 33 Reeves Rd. Bridgeton on Saturday June 10th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the church from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp.
