Obituary of David R. Cook

David R. Cook, IV, 57, of Cedarville died unexpectedly on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Born in Bridgeton to Betty Holding Cook of Cedarville and the late David Cook, III, he was the husband of Jacqueline Woody Cook. David had been a resident of Cedarville for the past 25 years and prior to that he had lived in Fairfield Twp. He was currently employed at Leone Industries in Bridgeton as a machine repairman for 28 years. He was an avid motorcyclist and camper. David loved Harley Davidson motorcycles and coached the Woody's Market little league team in Lawrence Township for 10 years. In addition to his wife, Jackie and his mother, Betty he is survived by three children, David R. Cook, V (Erin) of GA, Candi Cook (James Serrano) of Cedarville and Matt Cook of Cedarville; two grandchildren, David R. Cook, VI and Lucas Cook; his father-in-law, Lester Woody of Cedarville; a half brother, Mike Simpkins of Cedarville; his stepson, Eddie Schieri (Jennifer) of TN; his step-daughter, Jackie Washburn (Aaron) of MD and three step-grandchildren, Landon and Gavin Schieri and Zachary Hatfield. He was preceded in death by; his father, David R. Cook, III and his mother-in-law, Pauline Woody. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 160 Main Street , Cedarville on Friday, April 14th at 10 AM. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cedarville. A visitation will be held on Thursday evening, April 13th at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 160 Main Street, Cedarville from 6 PM to 8 PM.
