I called Linda from Mexico shortly before she passed. We talked of old times; teaching wild foods at the state parks in the Adirondacks, & our visits at her farm in south Jersey. We laughed, cried & enjoyed the phone visit, I'm so thankful I had that time with her! She was (is) a very special lady to everyone she touched!!! " Happy Trails Lady!"

I spent many delightful hours learning to forage and sharing a love of plants with Linda. Those memories will stay with me for the rest of my life. I was so glad I got to visit with her in December. We had a wonderful visit, but I never dreamed it would be our last one here on earth. May God comfort you in this time of loss. May the good memories stay with you until you meet again. I have many computer files of her drawings that I would be happy to share with family members. In loving memory of my friend, Judy

Linda was such a special lady. My daughter, Kelly, spent many hours working with and visiting with Linda at her Stow Creek home and again at her apartment in Woodstown. Linda loved to educate people and especially loved her family. She will be missed.

Ms. Runyon was a remarkable lady with a fascinating life story. So very intelligent and witty. She never failed to make me laugh. Her wisdom was only out matched by her generosity. I will forever be a different person as a result of knowing her. I wish our time together had been longer. Her family was very blessed to have her as a part of it. All my best to each of them.
