Obituary of Harold W. Price

Harold W. Price, 79, of Monroeville died unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Inspira Medical Center-Elmer. Born in Bybee, TN to the late Sollie Price and Edna Freshour Price, he was the husband of Blanche Caldwell Price. Harold had been a resident of Monroeville for the past 58 years and before that had lived in Franklinville. Prior to his retirement, he had been a glass blower at Kimble Glass Co. in Vineland for many years before it became Corning Glass. He was a member of Norma Baptist Church where he served faithfully as a deacon. Harold was an avid gardener where he enjoyed raising vegetables. In addition to his wife Blanche, he is survived by his daughter, Judy Thompson of Monroeville; six siblings, Tommy Price of Monroeville, Barnel Price and his wife, Lena of Monroeville, Sollie Carl Price and his friend, Beverly of Gibbstown, Jerry Price and his wife, Janet of Elmer, Loretta Woody and her friend, Jackie of Woodstown and Barbara Brown and her husband, Carl of Vineland and two grandchildren, Melissa Simmerman and Kenneth Simmerman, Jr. He was preceded in death by a grandson, George Herscher. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Monday, February 13th at 10 AM. Interment will take place at Centerton Freewill Baptist Cemetery in Pittsgrove Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9 AM to 10 AM.
