Joseph “JR” Bell, Jr., 52 of Greenwich passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, February 4, 2017. JR was born in Bridgeton to the late Joseph Robert Bell, Sr. and Caroline Williams Bell. He had been a Cumberland County resident most of his life. He employed as a small machine mechanic for Trout's Power equipment for many years and had been previously employed at the Shoemaker Airport in Stow Creek Twp. He loved the outdoors where he spent time in his garden and working on lawn equipment or anything with a motor. JR was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also loved to cook and enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Eagles play on TV. JR is survived by two sisters, Dianne Newton and her husband, Doug of Greenwich and Joanne Johnson of Hopewell Twp.; a brother, Robert Teddy Bell and his wife, Kathy of AZ; many nieces and nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and even four great-great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Friday, February 10th at 12 PM. Interment will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10:00 AM to 12 Noon prior to the services.
