Obituary of Jeffrey O. Parkin

Jeffrey O. Parkin, Sr., 61, of Hopewell Twp. died on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at his home under the care of hospice. Born in Millville to Arthur Parkin and Betty Chance Parkin, he was the husband of Nancy Halverson Parkin. Jeffrey had been a resident of Hopewell Twp. since 1997 and prior to that had lived in Vineland. He was a self-employed machinist by trade. In his free time, he enjoyed boating, flying his own private plane, remote control airplanes, motorcycle enduro racing and both sprint and stock car racing. Jeffrey also enjoyed music and playing the drums, guitar and piano. In addition to his wife Nancy and his parents, he is survived by his three children, Tracy Brennen of Petersburg, Jeffrey O. Parkin, Jr. of Millville and Kayla Parkin of Pittsgrove; a brother, Roger Parkin of Millville and six grandchildren, Caden, Andrew, Gabriella, Alyssa, Emma and Jacob. Memorial services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Saturday, February 4th at 11 AM.
