Obituary of Jeffrey L. Fraser

Jeffrey L. Fraser, 62, of Fairfield Twp., died on Friday, January 27, 2017 at Inspira Medical Center-Vineland following an extended illness. Born in Mannington Twp. to the late Charles Fraser and Margaret Gandy Fraser, he was the husband of Shirley Connelly Fraser. Jeff grew up in Quinton Twp. and had been a resident of Fairfield Twp. for over 10 years. Prior to his retirement, Jeff had worked for Cumberland County in the Maintenance Department for about 15 years. He had also been employed at Mannington Mills in Salem for 13 years and Resorts Casino in Atlantic City for about five years. He was a former member of the VFW post 1795 and the Order of Eagles in Bridgeton. He was a huge Beatles fan and enjoyed listening to their music. He was also a history buff and an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan. In his younger years, he enjoyed working on muscle cars. In addition to his wife Shirley, he is survived by two children, Jeffrey Fraser, Jr. of Fairfield Twp. and Christine Fraser of Millville; four grandchildren, Kaylee, James, Brian and Brianna and two brothers, Charles Fraser, Jr. of Quinton Twp. and Johnny Fraser of Washington Twp. He was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Fraser and two brothers, Joseph Table and Bruce Buckson. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Thursday, February 2nd at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Laurel Lawn Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Twp. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, February 1st from 5 PM to 7 PM and Thursday morning from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
