I am so sorry for your loss. I know that words can not remove the pain you feel. When I experienced the loss of a loved one I found great comfort in what God's word the Bible has to say. The Bible says that Jehovah God is the "God of comfort." (2 Corinthians. 1:3) He wants to remove your pain, because "he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7) The Bible speaks of a resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in death. "From the power of the Grave I will redeem them; From death I will recover them. Where are your stings, O Death?" (Hosea 13:14) Jehovah promises to bring those we have lost back to life, and remove the sting of death forever. What a comfort it can be to know that.
