Larry M. Cain, Sr., 66, of Hopewell Township died Thursday, October 13, 2016 at his home under the care of Hospice.
The son of Elizabeth “Betty” Wallace Cain of Greenwich and the late James Cain, Sr., he was the husband of Audrey Prettyman Cain. He was a lifetime Bridgeton area resident.
A veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, Larry served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of VFW Post Meade-Woodward Post 1795 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Post 2127 both in Bridgeton. He was an avid NASCAR fan.
Prior to his retirement, he had been employed as a boiler operator at the Cumberland County Court House. Before that he had worked at Redpack Foods Co. in Cedarville.
Besides his wife, Audrey and mother, Betty he is survived by five children, Joanne of Medford, Christina of Commercial Twp. and Larry M., Jr., Barbara and Mike of Bridgeton; three step-children, Vanessa of Hopewell Twp., Bobbi of Syracuse, NY and Robert of Commercial Twp.; three brothers, James, Jr. and Jay both of Greenwich and Bruce of Bridgeton, 13 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 13 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by; a grandson, Cody and a sister, Barbara.
