Jeffery E. Lacy, 40, of Cedarville died at home on Friday, September 30, 2016 surrounded by his family and friends following an extended illness. Born in Salem to Frank Schrier and the late Sharon Lacy Earl, he was the husband of Laren Hill Lacy. Jeffery had been a resident of Lawrence Twp. most of his life. Jeffery had served in the United States Army where he achieved the Rank of E4-Specialist United States Calvary Scout. From 1999-2000 he had served in Korea at Camp Casey. He had also been stationed at Fort Drum in NY. Jeffery had earned several service medals including; army commendation medal, army achievement medal, army superior unit award, army good conduct medal, nation defense service medal, army service ribbon and overseas service ribbon. He had been currently employed as a dispatcher and formerly a truck driver with Lee Transport in Elmer, NJ. He had also worked as a correctional officer at Evans State Prison in South Carolina. Jeffery enjoyed playing pool on his team “shoot hard or go home”. He was also a fan of the New York Giants. He is surived by; his wife, Laren Hill Lacy of Lawrence Twp.; his father, Frank Schrier; four children, Nick, Kylie, Sarah and Asia; his step-children, Dylan, Layna and Lilly; two sisters, April Milligan of Oak Harbor, Washington and Stephanie Burch of Handford, CA; his grandmothers, Kay Schrier of FL and Eva Lacy of Shiloh and his step-siblings, Jesse Earl, Jr. Sandy Earl Reiser, Judi Earl and Eddie Earl.
