Leonard J. Jamison, 72, of Cedarville died Saturday morning, October 1, 2016 at his home. The son of the late Joseph Jamison and Loretta May Fuerneisen Jamison, he was the husband of the late Elizabeth Watson Jamison and the longtime companion of the late Merry August of Cedarville. Born in Bridgeton, he had lived in Cedarville for 25 years and prior to that was a Fairfield Township resident. In spite of his failing health for the past few years, he was known for his sense of humor and joking. Before his retirement, Leonard had been employed in maintenance with the Bridgeton Housing Authority and with the Wheaton Glass Company in Millville prior to that. He is survived by his sister, Argatha “Trudy” Pollard of Bartow, FL; several nieces and nephews including Kimberly Stip and Karrie Blair of Bartow, FL. and other family members in the Bridgeton area. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 160 Main Street, Cedarville on Wednesday, October 5th at 11 AM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 to 11 AM prior to the services. Entombment will follow the services at Greenwood Memorial Park Mausoleum in Millville.
