Obituary of Emma A. Ortiz

Emma A. Ortiz, 87, of Bridgeton passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at her home under the care of Hospice. A homemaker, she was the daughter of the late Jesus Fuentes and Peregrina Estrella Fuentes and the wife of Angel R. Ortiz. Mrs. Ortiz had been a Bridgeton resident since 1964 and had come to the area from Brooklyn, NY. In addition to her husband, Angel, she is survived by her three children, Angel D. Ortiz of Vineland, Tamara Logan (Richard) of St. Mary’s, GA and Eli Ortiz (Carol) of Pittsgrove and two grandchildren, William Phillip Ortiz and Alec Ortiz. She was predeceased by a brother, Mario Fuentes and three sisters, Nicomedes Andino, Juana Torres and Mariana Cruz. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Tuesday, Sept. 13th at 11 AM. Friends will be received on Monday evening, Sept 12th from 6 to 8 PM and on Tuesday morning from 10 to 11 AM prior to the services at the funeral home.
