Obituary of Orville Clyde Bradway

Rev. Orville Clyde Bradway, Jr., 79, of Millville died on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at his home. Born in Bridgeton to the late Orville Clyde Bradway, Sr. and Doris Ney Bradway, he was the husband of Cynthia Stanton Bradway. Clyde had been raised in Fairton and was a graduate of Bridgeton High School Class of 1954. He had received a Bachelor's Degree from Asbury College in 1958 in Wilmore, Kentucky and had received a Masters Degree from Eastern Baptist Seminary in Philadelphia, PA in 1972. Prior to his retirement, Clyde had been the pastor of numerous local area United Methodist Churches. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Masons where he had achieved the rank of Master Mason at the Evening Star Lodge in Cedarville. In his free time, he enjoyed blue grass music, bird watching, hunting and reading. He also taught his entire family to play chess. In addition to his wife, Cynthia, he is survived by his three children, Timothy Bradway of Wenonah, Sarah Bradway of Vineland and Rebecca Bradway of Washington Twp.; four grandchildren, Amber Thomas (Rich Fischer), Jennifer Vitale, Andrew Thomas and Christine Bradway; a great-granddaughter, Arielle and two great-grandchildren on the way. Funeral services will be held at Padgett Funeral Home, 160 Main Street, Cedarville on Tuesday, September 13th at 11 AM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
