Born June 8, 1931 in Uniontown, PA, Dolores June Smith passed away peacefully, September 4, 2016 surrounded by her family at the age of 85. Dolores was predeceased by her husband, Burnett “Mack” Smith; sons, William and Lee Allen; daughter, Peggy (Martin); a granddaughter, Dolores Bartley and sons-in-law, Robert Palmer and Douglas Martin. She is survived by her daughters, Nancy (Henry) Young of Pittsgrove, Juanita Palmer of Richmond, VA, JoAnne (Gene) Bartley of Elmer, Linda Wendling of Elmer and Tammy (David) Hammer of Elmer. Dolores has 15 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. She had been previously employed with the Owens Illinois Glass Co. in Bridgeton. Dolores was a loving mother and devoted friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. In her free time, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, making various crafts, canning and shopping. Memorial services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Monday, September 12th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Laurel Lawn Cemetery following the services. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
