Obituary of Dorothy E. Damrau

Dorothy E. Damrau, 86, of Hopewell Twp. died Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Inspira Medical Center-Vineland. A Shiloh resident for many years, she was born in Camden and was the daughter of the late Emma Garrison Morgan and Leon Bartleson and was the wife of George F. Damrau. A homemaker, she will be lovingly remembered as an avid gardener, camper, lover of old movies and a collector of Nic Nacs. In addition to her husband George, she is survived by her daughters, Dorothy Hall (Keith) of TN, Johnnie Mae Densten (Bill) of Laurel Lake, LeeAnn Mullen (Kenny) of Laurel Lake, Terrie Malone of Vineland and Susan Lawson of Heislerville; stepson, George Damrau, Jr. of NY; stepdaughter, Dawn Damrau of NY; daughter in law, Joyce Mullen of Dennisville and 19 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her stepfather, Bart Morgan, an infant child, a son, Ellis Mullen, Jr., a grandson, Ellis Mullen, III, a great-granddaughter, Emily Lewis and her brothers, John Garrison and Charles Garrison. Graveside funeral services will be held at Overlook Cemetery in Bridgeton on Friday, September 9th at 11:30 AM where the interment will follow the services. Friends will be received at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Friday morning from 10 to 11 AM prior to the graveside services.
