Obituary of Wilmarie "Marie" N. Rudish

Wilmarie N. Rudish (neé Stiles), lovingly known as Marie, of Bridgeton passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at her home. Born on August 5, 1940, Marie was the second youngest child of the late Andrew and Lillian Langley Stiles and wife of the late Robin B. “Phil” Rudish. Prior to retiring, she was employed for over 35 years at Owens-Illinois Glass Company. Marie enjoyed drinking coffee, caring for her neighbors, collecting cookbooks and spending time with family. Marie is survived by; her two daughters, Penny A. Rudish-Laning and her husband, Jimmy of Fairfield Twp. and Toni L. Rudish (Steven Corey, Sr.) of Bridgeton; two granddaughters, Robyn M. Rudish-Laning of Columbia, S.C. and Jamie K. Laning of Fairfield Twp.; a grandson, her “little man”, Kyle D. Corey of Bridgeton and two sisters, Evelyn Stiles of Hopewell Twp. and Esther LaDow (Ronald) of Fairfield Twp. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who knew her as “Aunt Lulu”. In addition to her husband, Phil, she was preceded in death by; seven brothers, Calvin, Andy, Bucky, Sam, Paul, Harry and Smiley and three sisters, Grace Coleman, Mildred Stiles and Katherine Priem. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the services.
