Obituary of Cora Watson

Minister Cora Renee Watson, 49, of Millville went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 2, 2016. She fought a good fight and kept the faith. She was born on February 11, 1967 in Bridgeton to Darlene Manor and Curtis Watson both of Bridgeton. She had been a Millville resident for three years and had lived in Atlantic City many years prior to that. Cora was a 1985 graduate of Cumberland Regional High School and worked for many years at different casinos in Atlantic City, the last of which was the Trump Taj Mahal. She became an active member of the Devine House of Deliverance in Atlantic City under the direction of Pastor Ronald Coleman. Her favorite scripture was Psalms 34. Her passion was for people to be led to Christ and she was a willing worker at Sister Jean’s Kitchen in Atlantic City where she ministered and helped to feed the homeless. She loved working with people and seeing God move in their lives as well as her own. She loved the ministry God gave her to do and she did it well. She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother and father, five siblings, Curtis Bernard Watson, Sr., Jesten Morgan, Crystal Morgan, Darlene Morgan and Jennifer Morgan, three nieces, three nephews and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Wednesday, August 10th at 11 AM. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9 to 11 AM prior to the services. Burial will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park in Hopewell Twp.
