Obituary of Eileen A. Davis

Eileen A. Davis, 79, of Bridgeton, died on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden. Born in Bridgeton to the late Sylvan Walker and Dorothy Radcliffe Walker, she was the wife of Larry R. Davis. Eileen had been a resident of Bridgeton all of her life. A Homemaker, she had also been employed with the city of Bridgeton in the Tax Office. Eileen was an active member of Berean Baptist Church in Bridgeton. She had been an avid bowler and member of the Coffee and Doughnut League and the Church Bowling League. Besides her husband, Larry, she is survived by her six children, Richard E. Lore, Jr. and his wife, Grace of Upper Deerfield Twp., Cindy Leigh and her husband, Scott of Richmond, VA, Roland Lore and his wife Jo Ann of Upper Deerfield Twp., Regan Lore and his wife Julia of Upper Deerfield Twp., Megan Lore of Upper Deerfield Twp. and Kristen Marroquin of Upper Deerfield Twp.; a sister, Gloria Grier of Millville; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a step-sister, Lillian Bostwick. Funeral services will be held at Berean Baptist Church, 68 Vine Street, Bridgeton on Saturday, August 6th at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Overlook Cemetery in Bridgeton. Friends will be received at the church from 9 AM to 11 AM prior to the services. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, Upper Deerfield Twp. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Eileen’s memory to Berean Baptist Church, 68 Vine Street, Bridgeton, NJ 08302.
