Obituary of David D. Hunt

David D. Hunt, 60, of Dorchester and formerly of Millville died Thursday, July 7, 2016 at home under the care of Hospice. The son of the late Harold Hunt and Betty Miller Hunt Whitesell, he had lived in the Millville and Bridgeton areas most of his life. David had previously been employed in maintenance at the Carlton House Apartments and Millville Garden Apartment complexes. He enjoyed fishing and being around the water. He is survived by his companion, Patricia L. Tozer; four daughters, Jennifer, Angelique, Crystal and Cathy and 10 brothers and sisters; Betty Coker of Atlantic City, Marian Meade of Upper Deerfield Twp., Stephen Hunt of Atlantic City, Florence Purvis of MS, Carol Hunt of CA, Armond Hunt and Donald Hunt both of Bridgeton, Edward Whitesell of MI, Betty Lopez of Bridgeton and Gloria Scheff of Millville. He was predeceased by three brothers, Ronald, Raymond and Thomas Hunt. Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway # 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Friday evening, July 15th at 7 PM. Friends will be received from 6 to 7 PM prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
