Obituary of Victoria Gibbons

Victoria Gibbons, 64, of Bridgeton died Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. Born in Belle Glade, FL to the late Fredrick Leary and Cora Bell Gibbons, she was the wife of Andrew Gibbons of Bridgeton. She had resided in Bridgeton for over 50 years and had lived in Florida prior to that. Before her retirement, Mrs. Gibbons had been employed at the Vineland Developmental Center for 25 years. She was a member of the John Wesley United Methodist Church in Bridgeton. In addition to her husband, Andrew she is survived by three children, Jerl Lee Leary of Atlanta, GA, Barbara Ann Gibbons of Bridgeton and Andrew Gibbons of Glenside, PA; two brothers, Jerry Evans of PA and Robert Evans of Bridgeton; two sisters, Winifred Bethel of Bridgeton and Mary Bighals of Philadelphia, 22 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Jimmy Evans. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 3rd at 11 AM at John Wesley United Methodist Church, 90 Matthew Brown Way, Bridgeton. Friends will be received at the church from 9 to 11 AM prior to the services. Interment will take place at Fordville Memorial Park in Fairfield Twp.
